Albert Lee (born 21 December 1943 in Leominster, Herefordshire, England) is known as the guitarists' guitarist, having begun with Chris Farlowe & the Thunderbirds and then Heads Hands & Feet in the UK, he moved to the US to work with The Crickets and Emmylou Harris's Hot Band. In the early 80s he worked with Eric Clapton.

Albert Lee Gives Rock History Lesson at the Dakota
As the lights dimmed down with hues of red and blue, audiences that gathered this past Sunday for a matinee at The Strand Theatre were gearing up for the masterclass of a lifetime in musicianship. Their teacher, that day, was none other than world-renowned guitarist, Albert Lee.
“Much Appreciated Lead Guitar by Albert Lee” reads the inner-sleeve credit on “Sweet Little Lisa”, the last song on side one of Dave Edmunds' 1979 album Repeat When Necessary.
The iconic British guitarist with a star-filled resume played the first of two sold-out concerts at Spring Lake’s Seven Steps Up and proved he hasn’t lost a step. (Review, photos)
