Where’s my Mule? Back in Canada! Toronto to be exact, for the first show of a four stop Canadian fall tour. It is the band’s first date in Toronto since 2016 and fans welcomed them loudly at the iconic Massey Hall.
Garry Lowe’s passing from cancer in July not only affected Geordie Johnson and his other Big Sugar mates, but as evidenced by the packed Music Hall and the stacked guest roster, his passing touched many in the music industry.
Talk about keeping it in the family! Opening the evening was Daylight For Deadeyes, comprised of Chris Gormley (who also happens to be Big Sugar's drummer), along with twin brother Matt on guitar.
Heck I even got roped into selling merch for them a couple times which means I kind of missed being able to watch the actual show but luckily this is the loudest band on earth so I could at least still hear them playing in the next room.
