He began his recording career as an MC back in 1995 when he joined up with hip-hop producer Exile to form the mainstay indie rap group Emanon.

The Melbourne summer peak may be on its last legs, but musical and cultural events are still in full swing around the city. A series of concerts under the name Zoo Twilights are currently underway at Melbourne Zoo, lasting from January to March.
Co-writing and providing vocals on the electro tune definitely put the soul singer on the mainstream map, but the rest of Blacc’s set proved he’s much more than just a guest vocalist.
