That was my friend’s breathless description of Andrew Jackson Jihad’s wild show at the Alhambra theatre, and I couldn’t think of a better way to put it.
Even the band admitted there were more people than they expected before kicking the set off with "Temple Grandin" the first track from Christmas Island which was released in May via SideOneDummy.
I’d be lying if I said that I was a big Andrew Jackson Jihad fan. It doesn’t come from some deep seeded hate; I just haven’t sat down and given them a good listen. However, I’d only ever heard good things from friend that were into them or had seen them, so it was time to find out for myself.
