Performing on the opening night of the Red Bull Music Academy-presented MeTROPOLIS events series where the atmosphere is less cerebral and more physical there was a hum of excitement permeating the crowd.
It's only been open since March and the club's bookings have so far been eclectic from throwback house DJs like Louie Vega David Morales and Robbie Rivera to more contemporary acts like Regis DJ Qu and Veronica Vasicka.
OK that may not have been their intention but entering the pitch black Masonic Lodge on the burial site it sure seemed like that's what they were up to.
