A semi-retiring Aretha Franklin is nothing short of regal at Ravinia
The Grand Rapids audience responded with a rousing standing ovation, something that would be repeated frequently throughout the hour-and-25-minute concert that recapped a handful of highlights from the Queen of Soul’s superstar career.
But then there's the song's co-writer (and one of this year's honorees), Carole King, who can barely contain her excitement at seeing Franklin sit down behind a piano to perform the tune.
