He initially gained major recognition following the release of his single "Orange Soda", from his second mixtape Die for My Bitch (2019).

Two days after Baby Keem's sold-out Milwaukee show at the Rave, he won his first Grammy, for best rap performance for "Family Ties" featuring his cousin Kendrick Lamar. On Sunday, rapper Baby Keem is up for best new artist at the Grammy Awards in his native Las Vegas.
