Beach House is a dream pop group that formed in 2005 in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The group consists of Victoria Legrand (vocals, organ) and Alex Scally (guitar, keyboards).
Beach House are a neo-psychedelic shoegaze band from Baltimore, Maryland in 2004 and their self-titled debut album was released in 2006 and received critical acclaim. Beach House’s epic ‘Once Twice Melody’ is the most recent 18 track release, with a darker and weirder tone.
Midway through Beach House’s scintillating headline set I feel a tap on my shoulder. The crowd is packed-out and, as I turn around and spot a man twice my age grinning widely at me, I’m ready to brush off whatever mildly inappropriate comment he has to make and shuffle away through the sea of swaying bodies.
