Ben Kweller is a singer-songwriter playing a mix of indie rock and power pop influenced songs that was born in San Francisco, CA in 1981, being a part of the group The Bens as well as having a critically praised solo career. In 1982, his family relocated to Emory, TX; his father, Howard Kweller, became the town's first doctor.

While his everyman tunes possess more of a classic rock edge the production has always been slightly subdued more focused on studio tweaks than raw musicianship giving the impression that he’s holding something back on his albums.
