Listen to her album ‘Yours truly, Cellophane Nose’ and you will hear that she is unique compared to her musical contemporaries; with an air of punk and glam rock added to her gentle folk songs.
What a silly name Beth Jeans Houghton and the Hooves of Destiny is. It’s a good job that we are fond of silliness, and that they’re really good. By toning down the excessive kookiness Beth Jeans Houghton is emerging as one to keep a firm eye on. Getintothis’ Jamie Bowman battles the paps for slice of the action.

I’ve been giving their debut album some serious listening over the past couple of weeks and the concept of ‘hooves’ seems entirely in keeping with their music.
