Pardon me if, as this particular auld lang syne approaches, I'm not so sanguine about the immediate future.
He brought his high octane back-up band with Jeremy Woodall on guitar Matt Davis on bass and Jason McKenzie on drums which is the line-up that he’s been touring with for the last couple of years.
The show started at 10:30—a little on the late side for a weekday—but the crowd piled in as dense as corn pudding, and Shaver reciprocated with a two-hour set.
