The Manchester six-piece were a sort of kitchen-sink Rizzle Kicks who memorably sampled Madness on track Our House is Dadless but the breakthrough never came.
Thursday saw Rudimental and Bipolar Sunshine write record and release rehearse AND perform their original track - Distance (BACARDi Beginnings) by Rudimental feat.
It was an interesting experience, and yet somehow unexpected, despite the purposeful use of juxtaposition within his studio material and new creative direction.
August+Us provide support and the Manchester trio easily hold the room’s attention as they provide a slice of sunny alt pop with a roughened edge that singles them out as something different in an overly-saturated market of summer-ready bands.
