Last night (and as usual) Sydney traffic was hectic and finding parking was worse.
Inside there were people of all ages already dancing or smoking questionable substances in the beer garden while Melbourne hip-hop duo Diafrix did their thing to the excited crowd inside.
Hailed by Carlos Santana as 'The voice of the street and the band of the future!' BKB combine percussion-driven grooves with a social conscience and message that is as hard-hitting as their urban roots music.
You could talk about how it’s just another band filled to the brim with leftist idealism but the good cheer and openness with which most people approach the show made for an amazing Saturday night.
