Paris, France (2005 - present) It all started with a double bass player, a guitarist and a violinist; all highly talented musicians who are really into swing, Django addicts who enjoy tinkering with electro. Their project swayed a singer, a clarinettist, a trombonist who doubles up on percussion and a guitarist who also acts as DJ.
From the moment Caravan Palace stormed the stage at Django Rhienhart Jazz Festival in 2007 their sultry tunes have been grooving live audiences and ear drums ever since.
Luckily there was only room for the electro-swing enthusiasts at The Forum in Kentish Town as Parisian ensemble Caravan Palace put on a vibrant night of energetic music.
Fashioned in outfits right out of a speakeasy the men looking spiffy in suits and hats while the women dressed to impress in classy dresses and harmonizing accessories.
