"Did you just say you're having a good time?" Carla Geneve asked drummer Bryn Stanford.
Carla Geneve has become something of the poster girl of Perth local music scene. In only four short years her combination of honest, conversational lyricism, trebly distorted guitars and raw energy has made her a mainstay of local music venues and beyond.
After taking her Listening single tour across the east coast of Australia (while also supporting American indie darlings Lord Huron), Carla returned to Fremantle to complete her tour at The Aardvark, formerly known as The Odd Fellow.
Already a local rising star, Carla Geneve finally released her first official single, Greg’s Discount Chemist, into the world, with a launch at The Bird on Saturday.
