Catfish And The Bottlemen at Reading Festival 2024: soon-to-be stadium band lay their claim
Catfish And The Bottlemen’s return to Reading Festival was marred by a lack of energy and technical issues, leaving their headline set feeling uninspired and overshadowed by better performances.
But as ever, they brought it back – this time with Conversation, another song from the same album. Paired with Overlap, McCann and the rest of the band seemed to have regained their composure.
I have to admit that having seen Catfish play twice before (at the Institute and then the Academy in 2015 in between the first and second albums), I kind of stopped taking notice; not deliberately just by accident.
