Grindcore genre-smashers Cattle Decapitation head-up a four-band bill of musical carnage at Leeds Stylus.

As I approached the Stylus for tonights slab of death and death core I couldn’t help but notice the amount of shirts milling about with logos which to the untrained eye are totally illegible, to the rest of us though they are a cacophony of geniuses in the world we all absolutely love.

Tonight, they are live in Glasgow and the show is originally scheduled for the Cathouse, but is upgraded to the roomier Slay after selling out

Firstly, I want to start by offering up great thanks to those who helped me escape last night's crazy, insane Cattle Decapitation pit.

Life in the UK is looking pretty bleak at the moment, the country is in the worst financial state it has been in for decades, the unions are striking for basic necessities and believe it or not, we need rain more than anything.

As the first festival in our world to make its triumphant return last year following the pandemic, Bloodstock Festival was a saving grace for so many people who had been starved of live music in the age of lockdowns.
