Chas & Dave are a Cockney pop rock music artists, often billed as Chas 'n' Dave or erroneously as Chaz 'n' Dave. Their full names are Chas Hodges (piano, vocals, banjo, guitars) and Dave Peacock (bass guitar, vocals, banjo, guitars), with Mick Burt on drums.

Chas and Dave. The name says it all. Even before hearing them, you know what you’re going to get. To some the duo are a dirty words. But is that view based on musical preference or merely peer pressure?
Performing their annual Christmas Jamboree at the O2 Indigo the Cockney duo revved up a packed audience with their slowly-dying tradition of London ditties and Rockney tunes.
The last time I saw the redoubtable East London duo was two years ago on a farewell tour which had been prompted by bassist Dave Peacock’s grief at the passing of his wife.
With a new generation of listeners taking notice of this duo due to the announcement by Pete Doherty's that he is a fan I really hoped to see them up to the hype.
