Clan of Xymox (also known as Xymox) blend an eclectic and vibrant mix of darkwave, synthpop, and gothic rock. From the Netherlands, Xymox was established in 1983 in Nijmegen by frontman Ronny Moorings and then live-in Anke Wolbert.

Here we are now, so very close to the second kind-of-lockdown and for the second time this year I am writing about my last concert for probably another longer while again.
Since the signing of the contract with 4AD, they have recorded many albums appreciated by fans and journalists. Their next albums were released by Universal Music, Trisol and Metropolis Records.
When Dutch darkwave legends Clan of Xymox announced a late August show here back in the early spring, tickets sold out in less than four hours, prompting promoters to add a second date.
