Cockney Rejects wasted no time on stage as they blasted out a classic British punk show, undiminished in its power and glory even after forty-plus years.
It only took forty odd years and two postponements, but on Sunday night The Cockney Rejects finally made it to Auckland. And their fans were ready and waiting.
Forty years on from their teenage beginnings as New Punk saviours, touted by Bushell in Sounds and the Rejects are a punk institution whether music-snobs like it or not.
