CROWDED HOUSE: Neil Finn’s time-defying hair – and music – on glorious display at Cardiff Castle
The final evening of Nocturne Live at Blenheim Palace on Sunday, 16th June 2024, concluded the series with a fantastic lineup featuring Crowded House, Sheryl Crow, and Turin Brakes. The event offered an evening of diverse musical styles, from folk-rock to pop, set in the enchanting surroundings of Blenheim Palace.
This was a night of many firsts. My longest round trip to cover a concert (344km trip from Launceston to Hobart); our two-year-old son's first ever concert; and correct me if I'm wrong, this was Crowded House's first ever Tasmanian concert.
Joyous, heart-warming and familiar, seeing Crowded House with thousands of other fans all singing their hearts out was the post-lockdown connection we all need.
