Darlingside has returned with a new album “Everything is Alive,” and as suggested by the album title, has resurrected the band's tradition of beautiful sounds paired with poetic lyrics.
Dave Senft led Darlingside offstage at Universal Preservation Hall (UPH) in Saratoga Springs after their encore on November 3, likely the Massachusetts band's last quartet show as Senft leaves the road.
Indie folk favorites Darlingside played their last concert as a quartet with original members on Thursday night at UPH, simultaneously breaking my heart and soothing it with a longer-than-usual set of all original music.
For Boston string-and-sing band Darlingside, playing late (we hope!) in the pandemic means standing together again on a stage, so close you could cloak all four with a tablecloth.
