David Keenan delights crowd at intimate Smock Alley Gig
The line was initially announced as Elise/Lemon Cello/Malojian/Seamus Fogarty & special guest , the news of which wasn't released till close to the show date. Luckily it was the enigmatic David Keenan although unfortunately on the night news filtered through that Lemon Cello couldn't make it.
Like so many of his musical touring peers, Keenan has had to spend over a year in gigging no man's land and he cannot hide his joy and relief to finally be on the road and up before a live audience again. Tonight he has some 500 filling the venue on what is London's coldest night of this autumn.
