Devilskin rocked Auckland’s Powerstation last night along with a (somewhat) reunited Tadpole.

Devilskin closed out (kind of) their Let Me Breathe tour at Auckland’s Powerstation with a little help from their friends, East York. I say ‘kind of’ because the band has two more shows coming up in July so technically the tour carries on, but this evening felt, very much, like a tour-ending celebration.

Devilskin delivered a thrilling performance at The Brownzy last night, captivating the fan-packed crowd with their high-energy stage presence and hardcore musical endurance, and giving a final, unified Fuck Yeah to an iconic local pub closing its doors for good.

When I think of local hard-working bands and front men in the Auckland music scene, two names always come to mind Dity Maharaj and Michael Murphy (Coridian / Written by Wolves). With every show I see they always bring their A+ game, continually stepping things up a notch, be it in performance or production.

With both local and international friends in tow, it is with the promise of some new material and end of tour high jinx that Devilskin have once again taken over the iconic Powerstation for the final night of their seven date national tour.
