Disco Ensemble was formed in 1996 in Pori, Finland. For many years the band has been in the basements and underground-venues, writing songs and playing shows that would have put any band in the limelight to shame.
For one thing guitar music was still riding the waves of the charts and in particular thanks to the likes of My Chemical Romance and Panic! At The Disco the popularity of emo had been ascending at an alarmingly quick rate.
