Currently touring in support of the recently released Bodyparts, Martina Sorbara and her band brought their talents to New York City on Wednesday night, taking Terminal 5 by storm and wasting no time at turning the venue into a dancehall.
Hailing from Toronto these electro-rock dance bunnies have crash landed this side of the Atlantic and for the past year have been gigging constantly from toilets to the much more classier venues of the capitals.
In the past, fans often used the name Dragonette to refer to Canadian singer-songwriter Martina Sorbara although the band was technically a trio until 2016.
The blood-red-lit room was hopping to beats provided by local DJ My! Gay! Husband! a last-minute add to the bill after intended opening act Lowell had to leave the tour unexpectedly.
