When you think about a 'band', you invariably start using the classic ingredients: guitar, bass, drums, voice.
However Nordic psychsters Dungen were quick to dismiss that notion as they ripped through an intense set of neo-psychedelia which infused jazz and rock elements in equal measure.
Although Dungen are probably the more established act Woods are currently riding a wave of enthusiasm for the lo-fi folk movement they've helped kick-start.
While Gustav Ejstes and company do revive the ghosts of groups like Parson Sound they have a much greater affinity for modern indie pop than to the experimentation of the long-lost community they are often compared to.
