Elle King performed at The Ritz on Friday, May 31. There was no opener for this show and while doors opened at 7:00 PM, the singer didn’t take the stage until 8:30 PM. King played all her hit songs while the crowd enjoyed dancing and singing along.
The Chicks brought their 2023 World Tour to Auckland and Elle King was along for the ride. Both acts got the crowd singing and swaying as the tour faced down its final few dates.
First of all, thank you to the Pageant Theatre for the excellent accessibility to their venue. I got helped through the crowd without thwacking someone on the leg with my cane, the elevators were convenient and the seats were not tucked away in a corner.
