American indie rock band Flipturn put on a thrilling show at Boston’s House of Blues on March 29. The band, composed of members Dillon Basse, Tristan Duncan, Mitch Fountain, Madeline Jarman, and Devon VonBalson, formed while they were in high school in Florida.
For the third stop on their February tour, flipturn took to the stage at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro on Saturday night. Joined on the tour with supporting band Hotel Fiction, almost all of their shows are sold out for the month of February.
In the depths of an upstate New York winter, Flipturn brought feelings of sunshine and bliss to Lark Hall which typically only appear in the summertime. If you closed your eyes, the 300-person venue was seemingly transformed into a daytime set at a music festival.
