Sly is the word that best sums up last night's show at Dada, which saw two groups from New York City presenting a seamless two-hour-plus performance of avant-garde electronic and world
Taking over from the mix openers Nguzunguzu and Total Freedom prepared for them the New Yorkers dove into the vigorous bass music with a seamless transition.
The first came two songs in when lead singer/percussionist Lizzie Bougatsis let go of her inhibitions jumped down into the crowd and disappeared briefly only to bob up smiling and busting some incredible moves.
The scruffily hipsterish quartet take to the stage with teetering banks of synths amps and drums and start conjuring the hybrid sounds of their terrific fourth album Saint Dymphna.
