It was a given that we had to check out Gilla Band on this UK tour to promote Most Normal, their latest record that just hit record stores. Courted by a cavalcade of staunch devotees who had sung praise of the destructive blast radius left in their wake when the young group perform live.
From the second Gilla Band descended upon the Whelan’s stage there was exactly that…chaos with
mosh pits forming within the first minute of the set. The band didn’t slow down through out with banger
after banger with even the quietest moments of the set ending in whaling guitars and tremendous bass
