Brothers Harry and Alfie Hudson-Taylor took the stage just slightly before 9pm and the cheers of delight could be heard rolling through the surrounding fields, this venue is at its best when the sun shines and its packed out! as it was tonight.
First up for support was Dublin based artist Katie Phelan whose unique voice gave a wonderful start to the evening. Katie played a handful of songs with highlights including ‘Board Games’, her latest single’Duvet Day’ and ‘For Good’.
There arent many Irish outfits who can pack-out Whelans six nights in a row. On the first of their almost week-long run, Hudson Taylor showed just why fans love them so much.
Following the release of 2015’s Singing for Strangers, it seems Hudson Taylor’s audience are no longer strangers but loyal fans who know and sing along to every track word-for-word.
