Jason Derulo took Manchester by storm when he brought his Nu King show to Manchester's AO arena on March 10
His songs have always been catchy, right from debut single Whatcha' Say, back in 2009, but for many of his fans here tonight, it was surely Swalla that truly propelled the Florida-born singer to the big boy zone.
The first festival of the summer season kicked off last night as KFC Edgefest brought the party to Spark Arena for an evening of non-stop music and entertainment.
Sure an arena tour 11 platinum singles and four UK number ones are nothing to be scoffed at but he’s yet to gain the same musical credibility as many of his contemporaries (Chris Brown and Bruno Mars for example).
