Now something of a Mecca for tech fans across the world, the handsomely acclaimed UK Tech-Fest finally made its grand return to Nottinghamshire earlier this month.
Having missed a few years due to the demands of touring the world and becoming a Dad, he has found a bit of time to arrange another gathering of some of the world’s finest guitar players in this small Northern city.
By the time Antoine Dufour had used all his multiple tunings, played harmonics, tapped and slapped the guitar on originals as well as Muse and Coldplay covers, I didn’t think the virtuosity would be topped.
Good job the man likes touring in general then! Nearing the hump of a seven week tour Jon Gomm is tonight back in The Hop where numerous times before he has played to people talking over him in the downstairs bar.
