The heart of Auckland CBD was buzzing with Diwali festival-goers stretching along Queen Street, but that didn’t stop the young crowd from lining up to catch Lime Cordiale on their final stop of the Australasian tour.
Last Friday's Lime Cordiale concert – as part of the 'Enough Of The Sweet Talk' album release cycle – was a celebration that captivated 9,000 fans at ICC Sydney, proving the duo has solidified their place in the Australian music scene.
In a night that showcased the very best of Australia's indie music scene, Ball Park Music and Lime Cordiale delivered a double-header that will be remembered as one of the standout concerts of the year.
It's been four months since we could attend gigs and see artists perform in packed venues full of thousands of sweaty and excited faces. It's been so long that I started to question what experiencing live music actually felt like, and if we would get to re-discover it any time soon.
