Marianas Trench, with special guest LØLØ, pleased an eager audience at the MTelus at the Montreal stop of their “The Forces Of Nature” tour.
A blend of 80s metal, punk, 70s glam in performance style, and contemporary pop with its own original sound, their music varies from tongue-in-cheek humour to a wild rock opera vibe.
Advice like a beat you can’t ignore, harmony in thirds, not fourths, and their own spin on Tom Petty’s immortal don’t bore us, get to the chorus are certainly worth following.
Finding out that Marianas Trench were returning to the UK for the second time in under a year, I was elated!
