Memoryhouse is the recording project of neo-classical composer Evan Abeele and photographer Denise Nouvion from Guelph, Ontario. The name "Memoryhouse" is itself, a tribute to German composer Max Richter's seminal work and the project was originally a means to escape the paralysis of winter.

With long black hair trimmed for thick bangs lead singer and rhythm guitarist Jen Weidl marked their sound with her tastefully underpowered vocals a little on the flat side as is suitable to their style.
What originally intended to be a multimedia art project that combined Nouvion’s visual creative outlets of short films and photography with Abelle’s music composition has allowed them to bring that project onto a larger scale.
Baltimore’s Beach House, the standard-bearer, are vets when compared with newbies Memoryhouse, and any comparisons would only magnify the tangible experience gap last night.
