Which maybe makes sense: Moms was excellent even revelatory in parts and yet they still haven’t recaptured the critical shine that surrounded 2007’s Friend & Foe.
Instead the combo — led by Justin Harris and Danny Seim — focus on multi-layered concoctions that toy with tone and pace while trying on a range of different guises.
