Michael David Watt (born December 20, 1957 in Portsmouth, Virginia) is a singer-songwriter and bass guitarist, best-known for co-founding the punk rock bands Minutemen and fIREHOSE; as of 2003, he is also the bassist for the reunited Iggy Pop & The Stooges. He is also a member of the art rock/jazz/punk/improv group Banyan and the bass guitar duo Dos.

Exhausted? Maybe, but their performance refused to show that this was anything but a tight, energetic and entertaining act.
Up first were Greys a Toronto four-piece featuring ex-members of Arietta including frontman Shehzaad Jiwani who is like his hero Dave Grohl a drummer-turned-guitarist/vocalist.
Mike Watt and his loyal Missingmen landed in San Diego for a second time this year to deliver an encore performance of the band's rock opera Hyphenated-Man.
