Moneen is a band from Brampton, ON, Canada. Formed in 1999 after the dissolution of another band named Perfectly Normal, the original members included Kenny Bridges (vocals and guitar), Chris "Hippy" Hughes (vocals, guitar), Peter Krpan (drums) and Mark Bowser (bass).

The first hints came early in the day when their showmates The Fullblast said they’d been bumped to the earlier slot.
So it was when Moneen took to the corner of Cuchulainn's Irish Pub in Streetsville (now a neighbourhood of Mississauga) a pillar that bisected the performance area serving as the line in the sand.
