The Vancouver-based band were in great shape despite Steve Bays mentioning that this was their first show in six months — they're flying back home now to finish their new album.
Fitting then that Mounties (from Canada naturally) have chosen London as the first stop on a tour that sees them introduce their combined powers to Europe for the first time.
Embarking on a Canadian tour for their debut album Thrash Rock Legacy the band hit lead singer/keyboardist Steve Bays' hometown of Victoria BC for a return to the site of their first ever show at the city's Rifflandia Festival last summer.
Reigning from Vancouver, the promising pop-punksters JPNSGRLS (a vowel-less “Japanese girls”) kicked off the show with a boisterous set, seemingly procuring energy from an unsettled youthful angst.
