By the time Halifax favourites Nap Eyes hit the stage, the small performance space was comfortably packed and the show was confirmed as sold out before the doors even opened.
Halifax's Nap Eyes brought their slack rock tunes about feeling lonely in a crowd and general life anxieties to the Mainstage on the final day of SappyFest.
Fronted by Nigel Chapman, who comes across as an endearing introvert on stage, Nap Eyes always seem to have a few different things going on; the rest of the band working out laidback but interesting grooves — and clearly having a blast — while Chapman searches further inward, as if the music is the business a
