The former Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age bassist has over the years cultivated a reputation for wild antics and genuine aggression.
With Winnebago Deal fleshing out his band Oliveri has managed to do what we wish so many talented bass players would by taking centre stage in a way that explains just what they contributed to their former band.
You couldn’t complain that you didn’t get your money’s worth if you saw Nick Oliveri, the one-time Kyuss and Queens of the Stoneage and current Mondo Generator and Dwarves member, at Mojos on Sunday night.
If I’m not mistaken this is the second time Oliveri has toured Perth in this format.; Unfortunately I didn’t get to catch opener PUCK, but made it just in time to see The Southern River Band.
