If we’re being honest, we were attracted to this show to see the legendary Jim Sclavunos. He started his career in Teenage Jesus And The Jerks with Lydia Lunch before playing with The Cramps and Sonic Youth.
It’s been a good six weeks, Nicole Atkins said on the very last day her band was to tour with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (of whom she described as gentlemen to us).
Three years ago Atkins returned to Bowery (QRO live review) with Mondo Amore (QRO review) on an indie imprint but then it switched over to being a nu-metal label (QRO interview with Atkins).
