Nifelheim was formed in Dals Langed, Sweden in 1990 by Tyrant (bass/guitar), Demon (drums) and Hellbutcher (vocals). Soon they were also joined by guitarist Morbid Slaughter.

For a venue like the Club Academy in Manchester, its a personal experience to witness the deafening trio of headliners AT THE GATES, along with supports from NIFELHEIM and DESERTED FEAR.
Some are handling the unseasonable heat better than others, however, and it’s a shame that for many punters, admission is delayed by the drunken oaf attempting to fight the bouncers.
