In the years since the phrase, "that which does not kill us makes us stronger" was first attributed to German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, it's become something of a tired cliche. But to an underground band like OBEY THE BRAVE, relentlessly touring the world's clubs, against obstacles great and small, the maxim still carries the weight of reality.

It’s a rare occurrence that you get such an array of ridiculously talented bands who are currently at the top of their game all crammed into one rocket fuelled lineup in such an intimate venue.
As we made our way into the Oobleck I did notice that the usual trend for a hardcore (or beatdown) shows to fill from the back and sides of the venue first with a complete absence of any die hard fans rushing in to cram against the barrier.
