When festival season was wiped out last year thanks to the raging COVID-19 pandemic, for us music fans, it felt a hammerblow with our summer being quiet and solitary away from the buzz of a packed crown or the roar of amplified noise on an outdoor stage.
British summertime in 2021 has been a mixed bag. On the one hand, life is gradually returning to normal as the pandemic starts to ease, but on the other it's been wetter than Aquaman's bathing costume and the sun hasn't made an appearance in weeks.
Despite the well-practiced guitars, bass, and steel solid drumming, the songs ultimately left an uninspired feeling amongst the countless familiar riffs being borrowed from bands such as Sodom, Annihilator, and even Diamond Head.
