At U Street Music Hall on Saturday night, a sold-out room cheered when the lights went down and four white-clad musicians stepped onto stage.

Last Saturday, I was able to see Blossoms at relatively new venue Songbyrd Music House in Adams Morgan before jetting back to the U Street corridor.

Roosevelt’s self-titled debut album never quite captured the magic of his first EP Elliot, nevertheless, I was still intrigued to see how the German performer was going to transfer his productions into a setting.
