Say Lou Lou, formerly known as Saint Lou Lou are twin sisters Elektra and Miranda Kilbey, daughters of The Church's Steve Kilbey. Considered dream pop or dream wave, they released their first single in 2012 before forming their own record label, a Deux, in 2013.
Among the stars of TIFF in the city this month, Toronto also received a blast from the 70s rolling through the Garrison Sunday night in the form of Swedish/Australian synth pop duo, Say Lou Lou.
This time around said stage was a little larger (the band’s first two NYC shows were at Baby’s All Right and Mercury Lounge this past spring) but the dynamic duo and backing band had no trouble working it proper.
