Shapeshifter

Shapeshifter are behemoths as a top-draw live band. Here at home in New Zealand and around the world culminating in the festival of music pilgrimage, Glastonbury. A large fan base is here at the Spark Arena in noisy support and they get a state-of-the-art light show to go with a superb heavy-heavy Monster sound.

Shapeshifter has been the soundtrack of our summer for years, headlining tours and selling out festivals across Aotearoa. They returned last night to rid us of our winter blues and to shake up Spark Arena to celebrate the release of their 7th studio album Rituals.

New Zealand music is having the time of its life this year, despite a couple of pesky lockdowns that have caused a few dates to be rescheduled. And while there is a plethora of new acts to be discovered, admired, and most definitely celebrated, you cannot go past the classics.
